He grew up calling them Hootenannies and I grew up calling them German Pancakes. If either of us use OUR term for it the battle begins. Now I just call them Oven Pancakes to avoid the war. This will probably continue for the rest of our mortal lives because I am too prideful to ever call them Hootenannies. Of course, you know Brennan he has some experience in pride himself.
